About STUBE-BW
Are there several STUBE offices in Baden-Württemberg?
There is only one STUBE office in Baden-Württemberg. It is located in Stuttgart-(city center). You can contact us by phone or e-mail.
How can I become a member of STUBE-BW?
Our program is open to all students from Africa, Asia, Latin America and East Europe who are studying in Baden-Württemberg.
Does STUBE-BW offer scholarships?
No, we don’t. STUBE BW is not a scholarship program. It is an educational program. Our offers include workshops and events on development policy topics. The only exception we have is offering financial assistance for foreign students when requested for an internship or a study-related research in the home country (BPSA).

How do I register for a seminar?
You can only register online via here.
Can European students also participate in the seminars?
If there are still vacancies, European students are welcome to take part in the seminars as well.
I would like to register for a seminar, but I can’t find the option in the registration form.
The seminar programs are released on our homepage at latest 6 weeks before its commencement. Information on the seminar registration can be found here.
When will I receive a binding confirmation for my participation in the seminar for which I have registered?
Once you have registered, you will receive an automatic confirmation of your registration. In case you get accepted for the seminar, we’ll send you an e-mail as a confirmation of your commitment to attending the seminar.
How long do weekend seminars last?
Weekend seminars start on Friday at 6:00 pm and end on Sunday after lunch at around 1:00 pm.
How do I pay my registration fee?
Registration fee is paid in cash at the seminar. The amount will be recovered through your travel expenses that STUBE reimburses.
Can I choose a room in advance? Are there also single rooms?
The room keys are only distributed in the evening at the venue of the seminar. There are no single rooms, most of them are shared rooms. Women and men receive separate rooms.
Do I need to bring towels and bed linen?
Usually, bedding and towels are provided in the meeting place. If this is not the case, we send students an e-mail before the start of the seminar and remind them to bring these items.
When will I receive a Certificate of Attendance?
At the end of the seminar, you will receive a certificate of attendance if you have participated.
I can only attend the seminar on Saturday. Can I still participate?
The seminars have to be attended from beginning to end. If you need to come later or leave earlier due to unavoidable circumstances, please send us a notification in good time.
I am studying in Bavaria, I’m I allowed to register for the seminar?
The STUBE-BW seminars are meant for students studying in Baden-Württemberg. If there are still vacancies available, you can participate. However, STUBE reimburses travel costs incurred within Baden-Württemberg.
